A big congratulations to Detroit City FC and Mauer GKs Jean Antoine, Nate Steinwascher, and Player/GK Coach Eric Perilla on winning the 2020 NISA Fall Championship on Friday night, 10/2/2020. The NISA League is the professional soccer league sitting in the 3rd division of the US soccer pyramid. This victory marks the first professional championship for Mauer Athletics.

GK Nate Steinwascher kept 3 clean sheets in 4 starts during the season, and GK Jean Antoine was vital in the tournament keeping a clean sheet in the semi-final and making several fine stops in the final to win the championship. Detroit player/coach Eric Perilla made multiple appearances on the bench as a backup along with his duties to the club as their GK coach.
